| About Aacucivic | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The purpose of this listserv is to promote and share opportunities in civic learning and democratic engagement across the curriculum and co-curriculum in higher education. Both educators and employers agree that civic learning is a necessary element of educating students to be informed, engaged citizens in a diverse America and interdependent globe. We invite and encourage discussion, questions, calls for proposals, conference and event announcements, professional development opportunities, promising practices and syllabi ideas, and other items related to this topic. This listserv is moderated by AAC&U staff. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Aacucivic Archives. |
